London Underground:

  • The nearest stations are Temple and Blackfriars.

 

National Rail:

  • Blackfriars and City Thameslink are a five minute walk away.

 

Parking:

  • Parking is not generally available within the Temple. Parking can be arranged for the disabled, and may be available in other exceptional circumstances. Please contact us to discuss your needs.

 

Buses:

  • Numbers 4, 11, 14, 15, 23, 26, 76, 172 and 341 all pass along Fleet Street. Alight at the bus stops on Fleet Street for Chancery Lane or Fetter Lane.
  • At the junction with Fetter Lane turn down Old Mitre Court (an arch/short tunnel between Lipmans and The CarPhone Warehouse) and keep going, walking down a few stone steps through an iron gate, until you come to the car park in the Inner Temple. King’s Bench Walk is on your left. Number 7 is just over halfway down just past the stone arch which admits traffic from Tudor Street.

 

From Temple Tube Station:

  • Turn right out of the station then turn left along Victoria Embankment with the river to your right. Turn left on to Middle Temple Lane (the 2nd turning on the left, identifiable by large iron gates at its entrance.) Take the first the first right off Middle Temple Lane and continue past Crown Office Row into the car park. King’s Bench walk is the long terrace in front of you, 7 King’s Bench Walk is on the right of the stone arch which admits vehicles from Tudor Street.

 

From Blackfriars:

  • Please note that Blackfriars Tube is currently closed for refurbishment and that Blackfriars Rail may also be closed at certain times. Please check with National Rail/Transport for London before you travel.
  • Take the exit for Victoria Embankment (North side; Exit 7 from the underpass) and continue westwards along Victoria Embankment, with the river to your left. Take the third right into Temple Avenue. Continue up Temple Avenue until you reach Tudor Street and turn left. Go through the stone arch at the end of Tudor Street, 7 King’s Bench Walk is the first building on the left.

 

From City Thameslink:

  • Exit onto Ludgate Hill and turn left towards the traffic lights. Turn left onto New Bridge Street at the lights and immediately cross at the pedestrian crossing. Then continue left down New Bridge Street towards Blackfriars. Take the fourth right into Tudor Street and continue all the way down to the stone arch at the end.  Go through the stone arch, 7 King’s Bench Walk is the first building on the left.
